We invite you to join one of the many fun small groups..... 
  After-school program, Good Stuff Club, Fall 2012 Group Picture  youth group carving pumpkins  UMW yearly Ladies Day Out Luncheon
For Children: 
We have a beautiful nursery that is open each Sunday morning.  Little ones are invited to come play in a safe environment that is just for them.  
Junior Church
We offer a wonderful program each Sunday morning at 11 am for children of all ages. through fun lessons and crafts, your child will learn the stories in the Bible.
Good Stuff Club
In the fall and spring we offer a fantastic after school program on Wednesdays.  The Good Stuff Club offers good stories, good crafts, good snacks, and good friends.  All children Kindergarten through 6th grade are welcome to join us!  For more information call the church office.
This summer we invite all kids going to preschool through 8th grade, all parents, grandparents, friends, EVERYONE to join us for a fun filled experience at Vacation Bible School! Five days of learning fantastic Bible stories, crafts, games, snacks, songs, and making wonderful friends!
Vacation Bible School will be held Sunday, August 3 through Thursday, August 7, 2014

Sunday School 
You are invited to join us Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m. for Adult Bible School.  
Bible Study
You are invited to join us each Monday at 7 p.m. for Bible Study at Litchfield UMC.
Devotion Study
You are invited to join us each Tuesday at 10 a.m. for a devotional study at Litchfield UMC.  
Knitting & Craft Group
You are invited to join us each Monday at 3 p.m. at Litchfield UMC.  This group of wonderful ladies gather to knit and crochet prayer shawls.  Prayer Shawls are given to people who need comfort, those who are grieving, lonely, homebound, or in spiritual need within and outside of our congregation. You may become a part of this ministry by making a shawl, praying for the ministry, or requesting a shawl for a friend or loved one who needs to feel God's embracing love and cafe. For Women:
United Methodist Women (UMW)
United Methodist Women is open to ALL women.  United Methodist Women is the largest denominational faith organization for women with approximately 800,000 members whose mission is fostering spiritual growth, developing leaders and advocating for justice.  The UMW at Litchfield United Methodist Church meet the 4th Wednesday of each month, at 1 p.m.  Please check the calendar for more information.
For Men:
Men's Group
Our men's group is open to ALL men.  Our group meets the first Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m., at the Coldwater Gardens in Coldwater, MI.  This is a great time for the men to get together, eat, talk, and just have a good time.  We go dutch.  Hope to see you there!

 Using Your Gifts in 2014
Litchfield United Methodist Church offers many opportunities where your gifts and talents may be used in serving Christ and His church. Serving in any ministry is a great way to connect with people who share similar interests. 


Growing Our Faith (nurture)-  This is the team of people that help grow our faith. 
This includes: musicians,  Sunday School, leading a Bible Study, helping with Jr. Church, 
Liturgist, Acolytes, Communion Stewards, Choir, the Prayer Team,and leading us in
building a stronger relationship with God. 


Sharing Our Faith (witness)-This is the team of people that invite and welcome all into the presence of God.
This includes:  Ushers & Greeters, hospitality,  leading the church to be inviting,
and help getting the word out about activities that share our faith with others. 


Helping Others (outreach)-This is the team of people that show God’s love by ministering to the physical needs of others. 
This includes:  the Food Pantry,  Free Summer Lunch Program, Winter Coat Drive,
supporting missionary Rev. Paul Webster, UMCOR,and leading the church in helping
to meet the physical needs of others (food, shelter, & medical care)
